What you will do
The work involves coordinating the planning and provision of administrative services to the Executive and the assigned unit to meet requirements for such needs as finance, budget, contracts, human resources, information management, communications and meetings and travel planning.
What you need to succeed
Education

Secondary school diploma
-
Completion of certificate or diploma in administration will be considered an asset.
Experience
- Experience in managing and coordinating the administrative services function in a busy office;
- Experience in management of an administrative budget;
- Experience in the use of personal computer software, including Power Point, Excel, and Word.
Knowledge
- Basic knowledge of SSHRC structure, objectives, strategic orientations, programs and policies;
- Knowledge of Government of Canada administrative, financial, HR, IM policies, procedures and general knowledge of federal accountability
requirements; - Knowledge of office protocol.
