What you will do
Are you an organized communicator with a talent for keeping projects on track? NSERC is seeking a Coordinator and Communications Officer to join our team.
Your responsibilities will include coordinating and assigning tasks across web, design and multimedia functions to ensure projects are delivered smoothly and on time. You will monitor workflows, track progress using project management tools, and provide day-to-day operational support to keep the team running efficiently. Working closely with the Senior Digital Content Strategist, you will help ensure digital content meets accessibility standards and complies with Government of Canada requirements. You will also support the Manager of Creative Services with vendor coordination, procurement, scheduling and other administrative activities.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented and experienced in supporting digital communications and content publishing. You collaborate well across teams, solve problems proactively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

What you need to succeed
Education
- A college diploma or university degree in communications, project management, business administration or another relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience
- Experience coordinating projects and/or managing workflows
- Experience using project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project)
- Experience supporting digital communications and content publishing
- Experience providing administrative and operational support (e.g., vendor coordination, procurement, reporting)
Knowledge
- Knowledge of project management practices and workflow coordination
- Knowledge of accessibility and user-centred design principles
